Qatar Airways started seasonal flights between the airports of Doha and Trabzon. From June 16th June to 22nd August, travelers will be able to use this route between Turkey and Qatar. This route is important as its the 7th destination to Turkey of Qatar Airways.
The new route was celebrated with the attendance of Mustafa Goksu, the Ambassador of Turkey in Qatar. Also, Qatar Airways welcomed their passengers with Turkish desserts, a Turkish cuisine menu, and gifts from Turkish culture.
The Group CEO of Qatar Airways, Akbar Al Baker spoke about the new route. He said; “Trabzon is an exciting and important new route for Qatar Airways, which solidifies our strong commitment to Turkey and delivers on the high demand for connectivity between Doha and Trabzon. We look forward to bringing travelers to Trabzon from the Gulf region and beyond.”
The connection between these two important destinations is also short. The scheduled flight time for this route will be about 3 and a half hours. The aircraft will carry between 132 to 144 passengers on each flight. The flight schedules are also revealed. According to the travel news, there will be three flights per week between Doha and Trabzon. The flights will be on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
