As a result of the civil war in Syria, Turkey is host to about 3.5 million Syrian citizens. Our country has given 'temporary protection' status for these Syrian citizens. Previously Turkey was not replied in the affirmative to buying property for Syrian citizens. Because The Syrian Arab Republic is not recognized as diplomatically by The Turkish Government. Therefore Syrian passport holders couldn’t buy property in Turkey.

According to the framework of the new developments, there are important steps in the buying a property of Syrian Arab Republic citizens in Turkey. Bayram Tekçe, the Chairman of Trabzon Homes, foresee that Syrian passport holders will able to acquire property in Turkey soon depending on circular of General Directorate of Civil Registration & Citizenship Affairs. As regards circular mention that ‘Authorities demand to remove limitations of Syrian Arab Republic citizens on real estate acquisition within the borders of the Republic of Turkey.’

Bayram Tekçe, the founder of Trabzon Homes, reported that; “Syrian citizens who live in Turkey, in the direction of the latest news, will generate a huge demand on the Turkish property market. Syrian were came through obstacles to buying limitations by establish a Turkish company or buying a property in the name of different people. We have taken over their title deeds to provide to buying of Syrian customers in Turkey. We will invite our Syrian customers very soon to buying their title deeds in the name of their own. I expect these restrictions are abolished within 3-9 months.”
